Extend, improve or otherwise alter existing house

| Will any enlarged part of house be more than one storey and extend beyond the rear wall of the original house by more than 3 metres, or be within 7 metres of any boundary of the curtilage of a house opposite the rear wall of your house? |

| Will any enlarged part of house be within 2 metres of the boundary of the curtilage of the house and will the height of the eaves of any enlarged part of the house exceed 3 metres? |

| Will any enlarged part of house extend beyond a wall forming a side elevation of the original house and exceed 4 metres in height, have more than one storey or have a width greater than the width of the original house? |

| Will the proposed works consist of or include the installation, alteration or replacement of a microwave antenna? |

NB - original house means as built or as it was on 1st. July, 1948.
In all cases, proposed works are subject to the following conditions:-
- materials used in any exterior work, (except conservatories), must be similar in appearance to those of the existing house.
- any upper-floor window in a wall or roof slope forming a side elevation of the house must be
- obscure-glazed and
- non-opening, unless parts capable of being opened are more than 1.7 metres above floor of room, in which window is installed.
- where an enlarged part of a house has more than one storey, the roof pitch of the enlarged part must, as far as practicable, be the same as the roof pitch of the original house.
