"To create and sustain the conditions which promote and support healthy lifestyles and which encourage and support the involvement of older people"

This theme considers all those factors which influence people's health and well being, and in particular those factors which ensure older people feel cared about and valued. Oswestry community Partnership recognises the importance of local and accessible facilities as an immediate health concern and priority for the people of Oswestry. Health is a very complex mix of a range of factors such as lifestyle, housing needs, housing conditions, social and community networks, living and working conditions, genetic, cultural and environmental conditions, which all interact to create and exacerbate inequalities in health. Community development in this area is a way of solving and providing solutions at the community level with local people and organisations that are involved in this field
