Forward Plan

The Council produces a Forward Plan detailing 'Key Decisions' which are to be taken by Cabinet. Key Decisions are

1. An Executive decision which is likely:-
   
   1. to result in the expenditure or the making of savings of £100,000 or above; or
   2. to be significant in terms of its affect on communities living or working in an area comprising 2 or more Wards in the Council's area.
2. A decision taker may only make a key decision in accordance with the requirements of the Cabinet Procedure Rules set out in Part 4 of the Council's Constitution.

The Forward Plan is prepared on a monthly basis and contains details of the Key Decisions to be made for the four month period following its publication, including the date on which the Decision is due to be taken, who is going to be consulted, and how representations can be made. During the municipal year 2004/2005 it is anticipated that the Forward Plan will be published on the following dates:-
