Install, alter or replace Stand Alone Solar Photovoltaic or Solar Thermal Equipment

Please answer the following:

Will new works result in there being more than one stand alone solar?
Will any part of the equipment exceed 4 metres in height above ground level?
Will the equipment be installed within any part of the curtilage of the house and be visible from a highway, if on land within a Conservation Area? Follow this link to check if your house is in a Conservation Area.
Will the equipment be situated within 5 metres of the boundary of the curtilage of the house?
Will the surface area of the solar panels forming part of the stand alone equipment exceed 9 square metres or will any dimension of its array, (including any housing), exceed 3 metres?
Will the equipment be installed within the curtilage of a listed building?
If the answer to ALL of the above is "No", click the NO button.

N.B. The following conditions apply to all installations:-

• siting of the equipment shall be such as to minimise its effect on the amenity of the area
• when no longer needed for microgeneration, the equipment must be removed as soon as reasonably practicable
