Section 6: Affordable Housing Policies

3.167 - The following two policies seek to achieve the development of affordable housing for those households whose needs may not be met by housing generally available on the open market.

3.168 - Policy H26 deals with very exceptional cases where development may be allowed outside the development boundaries of settlements in Policies H5 to H7, in order to meet specific affordable housing needs.

3.169 - Policy H27 sets out how the Borough Council will negotiate for the provision of affordable housing on allocated and windfall sites within settlements.
