Policy LE15: New Road Haulage Depots

The development of new road haulage depots will not normally be allowed in the rural area unless they:

1. Are located on sites which have convenient access to the Primary Route Network and which do not necessitate the passage of vehicles through residential areas,

2. Do not harm residential amenity and are not visually obtrusive,

3. Have safe access to the highway.
