Policy H15: St. Martins Sewage and Water Supply

The development of sites allocated for housing development in St.Martins will not be permitted unless the Borough Council is satisfied that the sites can be adequately serviced in terms of sewerage and water supply.

3.122 - In view of concerns regarding the existing foul and storm water drainage facilities in the village, and problems with low water pressure, the Borough Council will need to be satisfied that adequate provision is made with regard to drainage facilities and water supplies serving proposed new developments in the village, before granting planning permission. This is to ensure that existing problems are not exacerbated by new development.
