How to change the text size

If you find the text size on this website too small or too large, you can change the size of the text via your Internet browser or select the text size button located at the top left of the page.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5 and 6.0

If you are using Internet Explorer, go to the menu at the top of the browser page and select View, from the list of options, select Text Size. You will see a side menu open up; select the size you wish to view the website in.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7

To select a default text size, you can follow the instructions as above (press the ALT key to display the normal menu options at the top of the screen). Internet Explorer 7 also has a handy zoom facility located in the bottom-right of the window. Click on this to increase the text size, or click on the arrow to the right to bring up a menu of possible zoom levels.

Mozilla Firefox 1, 1.5 and 2

To resize on-screen text, go to the menu at the top of the browser page and select View, from the list of options, select Text Size. You will see a side menu open up which will give you the option to increase or decrease the text as needed.

Mozilla Firefox 3

Firefox 3 will now increase the size of both text and pictures by default. To do this, go to the View menu, then Zoom, and select Zoom In or Zoom out as needed. You can also change the settings so that only text is increased by using the Zoom text only option on this menu.

Netscape Navigator 4.6 6.2 and 7.0

Common keyboard shortcuts

For a computer using Windows operating system:

• Full Screen:  F11
• Zoom Text Smaller: 'Ctrl -' (minus sign)
• Zoom Text larger: 'Ctrl +' (plus sign)
• No Zoom (100%): 'Ctrl 0'
• View Page Source: 'Ctrl U'
   

For a computer using a Macintosh operating system

• Zoom Text Smaller: - 'Cmd -' (minus sign)
• Zoom Text larger: 'Cmd +' (plus sign)
• No Zoom (100%): 'Cmd 0'
• View Page Information: 'Cmd I'
• View Page Source: 'Cmd U'
   

For a computer using a Linux operating system

• Full Screen:  F11 (may depend on window manager)
• Zoom Text Smaller: 'Ctrl -' (minus sign)
• Zoom Text larger: 'Ctrl +' (plus sign)
• No Zoom (100%): 'Ctrl 0' (zero) 
• View Page Information: 'Ctrl I'
• View Page Source: 'Ctrl U'
