Blue Badge Parking

Blue Badge parking scheme application

The Scheme provides an almost national arrangement of parking concessions for people with severe walking difficulties, who travel either as passengers or drivers. The Scheme also applies to registered blind people, and people who with very severe upper limb disabilities who regularly drive a vehicle but cannot turn a steering wheel by hand.

Badges will not normally be issued to people who are temporarily incapacitated i.e. broken leg or recovering from surgery such as a hip replacement.

The Blue Badge parking scheme is administrated by Shropshire County Council.
